Home Federal Bank Celebrates 4th Quarter Year of Giving Donation to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

SHREVEPORT, La—Home Federal Bank (“HFB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Home Federal Bancorp, Inc. of Louisiana (NASDAQ: HFBL), has donated $5,000 to the Shreveport-Bossier Branch of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

During their 2017 Year of Giving event, HFB donated to a local charity for each closed, residential mortgage loan. Each quarter a local charity was chosen to receive the donation. For the fourth quarter of 2017, HFB has donated a total of $5,000 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

“Organizations like the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation are a light in the darkness for so many families. Home Federal Bank is proud to contribute to our local CFF branch, and aid in providing vital resources to our neighbors in need,” said David Barber, Sr. Vice President of Mortgage Lending for HFB.
